Nicola is the founder of Comma Workspace. She works with a team of exceptional interface designers and developers, researchers, educationalists, art directors and illustrators, who come together on projects where their skills are a good fit for the client.

Nicola’s background
Nicola’s original education and experience is in visual communication, and has worked for over a decade as an award winning designer and art director in advertising and design agencies both in Ireland and Los Angeles.

A persistent interest in psychology led to her decision to return to education. She graduated from her M.Sc in Cyberpsychology (IADT, Dublin) with first class honours, and won an award for academic excellence. he completed her PhD in the University of Wolverhampton (profile page). She also teaches Cyberpsychology and psychology at graduate and postgraduate level in IADT, Ireland.

Nicola is a member and is the former co-chair of the Psychological Society of Ireland, special interest group for Media, Art and Cyberpsychology (SIGMAC). The SIGMAC page.
